Slodowa Island
Slodowa Island - an analysis and programme of spatial changes is a project prepared by a thinkthank BLOKBLOG as a part of social consultations regarding the tenement house Słodowa7.
The island, situated in the centre of Wrocław, is a heart of outdoor gatherings and entertainment, a true symbol of Wrocław's social life. When it was threatened by privatization we constructed a proposal of changes that would economically benefit both the city council as well as local entrepreneurs, whilst still maintaining its open, social character.
